Grief support for children
For children, the death of a loved one or friend can have a significant, long-term impact on their life. To help children overcome feeling powerless against their grief, Reverence Home Health & Hospice provides group support. With the guidance of our experienced, compassionate professionals, children may express their feelings in a safe environment.
Creative Crossings—This six-week program helps children ages 6 – 17 learn with the death of a loved one by encouraging expressions of their grief through creative outlets such as art, music and writing.

Grief support for adults
Losing a loved one is difficult. It may raise questions that have no simple answers and stir emotions that are not easily settled. And going through grief is difficult, but it is part of the healing process. Reverence Home Health & Hospice offers grief support groups that are designed to provide a safe environment to talk about feelings as they relate to loss, to learn new ways to cope with these feelings and changes in one's life and to identify new sources of strength and hope.
Living with Loss – A six- week support and educational group with structured time for adults experiencing loss due to the death of a loved one.
Parenting the Grieving Child – An educational and supportive group for the parents or guardians of children experiencing loss due to the death of a loved one. This groups runs simultaneously with the Creative Crossings group for children and teens.
