Losing a loved one is difficult. It may raise questions that have no simple answers and stir emotions that are not easily settled. And going through grief is difficult but it is part of the healing process.
Reverence Home Health & Hospice offers grief support sessions that are designed to provide a safe environment to talk about feelings as they relate to loss, to find new ways to cope with these feelings and changes in one's life and to identify new sources of strength and hope.
Grief Support Group
Our group offers support to anyone who has experienced a death or a significant loss. The group meets on the third Thursday of each month from 7 p.m. through 8:30 p.m. at Genesys Administrative Services Building (GASB) in Grand Blanc.
Monthly Grief Support Group
Support group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home in Fenton.
Support group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Mt Morris.
Support group meets the first Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at Muir Funeral Home in Lapeer.
This is a six-week grief support group for children who have experienced loss due to the death of a loved one. These groups are hosted at various schools, in an environment that is specifically designed to assist children with expressing and coping with their loss.
Camp Brave Hearts
This is an annual weekend camp support group for children who have experienced a loss due to the death of a loved one. A safe, fun weekend with highly-qualified staff provides a variety of camp activities, along with grief-related craft projects to facilitate healing and coping. Scholarships are available to all who attend.
